南江特产|南江黄羊,百姓致富的希望

摘要: 作为“中国品质最好的肉用山羊”,南江黄羊头顶着如繁星般的光环,在巴蜀大地脱颖而出,走向全国,进入欧盟等海外市场。


“吃的是中草药、喝的是山泉水”,这是人们对南江黄羊的赞美之词。南江黄羊具有“一高两低一丰富”(蛋氨酸含量高,胆固醇、脂肪含量低,氨基酸含量丰富)显著特征,被誉为“亚洲第一羊”。


It is widely praised that the Nanjiang Yellow Goat feeds on herbs and mountain spring water. Hence the meat is abundant in methionine and amino acid, and low in cholesterol and fat, making it the best quality goat meat across Asia.


南江县属于亚热带季风性湿润气候,被誉为四川北部山区的生物基因库和大巴山里的百宝箱。南江养羊较早,清道光七年《南江县志》记载:“山泽民间有从事畜牧牛马至数十头,羊至百余头者⋯⋯”


Nanjiang County, of which the weather belongs to the subtropical monsoon humid climate, is known as the biological gene bank in the mountainous regions of northern Sichuan and the treasure chest in Daba Mountain. Nanjiang has a relatively long history of raising goats. According to the Nanjiang County Chronicles at the seventh year of Emperor Daoguang of Qing Dynasty, dozens of cattle and horses and more than 100 goats were raised in the mountainous and watery regions.


南江黄羊是南江县畜牧食品局在1954年以雄性麻羊为父本,南江本地母山羊为母本,经过40多年的杂交培育而成的优质羊肉品种,1998年通过了国家畜牧资源委员会的审定,并被农业部正式命名。

 

Nanjiang Yellow Goat is bred by the Animal Husbandry and Food Bureau of Nanjiang County in 1954 with male Ma goat as male parent and Nanjiang local goat as female parent. After over forty-years’ cross-breeding, the yellow goat has become a breed with high-quality meat. In 1988, the new breed was approved by the National Animal Husbandry Resources Committee and officially named the Nanjiang Yellow Goat by the Ministry of Agriculture.


经过各方专业人士研发出的多道独具特色的黄羊菜品,糅合了煎、炸、炒、炖等多种做法,兼具南北口味,即满足味蕾,又成就营养。遐迩闻名的南江黄羊汤,汤汁醇厚、鲜而不膻、肥而不腻,羊肉鲜嫩、风味独特。

 

The Nanjiang Yellow Goat meat has been made into a variety of dishes by using multiple cooking methods like pan-fry, deep-fry, stir-fry, stew and etc. By accommodating both southern and northern China cuisines, the dishes are not only tasty but also healthy. The fresh and thick Yellow Goat Soup is known far and wide because of its unforgettable flavor.

 


作为“中国品质最好的肉用山羊”,南江黄羊头顶着如繁星般的光环,在巴蜀大地脱颖而出,走向全国,进入欧盟等海外市场。截至目前,全县南江黄羊养殖量已达到48万只,带动全县8000余人发展南江黄羊产业,人均增收2000元以上,并已推广到广州、上海、北京30个省、市、自治区,惠及千千万万山区农民。


As the best quality meat goat in China, the Nanjiang Yellow Goat stands out from the rest, and has being introduced to other provinces across China and overseas markets in EU. Up to now, the number of Yellow Goats raised across Nanjiang reached 480,000. The goat industry has created jobs for more than 8,000 locals with their per capita income increased by 2,000 yuan. Moreover, the Nanjiang Yellow Goat industry has been expanded to 30 provinces, cities and autonomous regions including Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, benefiting tens of thousands of peasants living in mountainous areas.
